This policy is issued in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, as applicable in India. By using this website or contacting us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

1.Who We Are

Alliance Digitech decides why and how your personal information is processed in connection with this website and our sales, rental and service activities.

2.1 Information You Give Us

When you submit the enquiry form, email us or call us, we collect the details you choose to provide, which typically include your name; your company or organisation name; your business email address and phone number; the product or service you are interested in and the nature of your requirement; and any additional information in your message.

If you become a customer, we also collect information needed to fulfil an order or contract, such as billing and delivery address, GST details, authorised contact persons, installation-site details, purchase orders and payment references.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Server logs: our hosting provider automatically records limited technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of access. We use this only to keep the website secure and functioning.
• Cookies: the website uses only essential cookies required for it to function and to remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
• Website analytics: we do not currently use website analytics. If we introduce analytics in future, we will use privacy-friendly, first-party analytics that measure aggregate traffic and are not used to identify individual visitors, and we will update this policy accordingly.

3.How We Use Your Information

• to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations and proposals, and arrange demonstrations;
• to supply, install and service imaging and audio-visual equipment, to rent imaging equipment, and to provide annual maintenance and consumables for imaging equipment;
• to register products and process warranty and service requests with the relevant manufacturers;
• to manage our contracts, invoicing, payments and business records;
• to send you communications directly related to your enquiry, or to an ongoing order or service relationship (for example, quotation follow-ups, delivery updates, support responses and AMC renewal reminders);
• to maintain and improve the website and its security; and
• to comply with law and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not send promotional newsletters or marketing emails from this website.

4.Our Lawful Basis

We process your personal information on one or more of the following bases: your consent; the need to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to perform a contract with you or your organisation; our legitimate interests in operating our business in a proportionate way; and compliance with a legal obligation. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only where necessary, with:

• the manufacturers whose products we are authorised to supply (Konica Minolta, Kyocera and Epson), and only where necessary for warranty, product registration, installation, service or support;
• logistics and installation partners, to deliver, install and collect equipment;
• service providers who support our operations, such as our website host, IT and email providers, and our accountants and auditors, under confidentiality obligations;
• authorities, courts or regulators, where required by law or to protect our rights, property or safety; and
• a successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition or reorganisation of our business.

6.Data Security

We follow reasonable security practices and procedures to protect personal information, including access controls, limiting data to staff who need it, and using reputable hosting and email providers. No website or system can be guaranteed to be completely secure; please do not send sensitive personal data through the website form.

7.How Long We Keep It

We keep enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle and follow up on your enquiry, for our legitimate business records, and to meet applicable legal requirements. Where you become a customer, we retain contract and transaction records for the duration of the relationship and for the period afterwards required by tax, company and contract law.

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to: confirm what personal information we hold about you and provide a copy; correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete; erase information we no longer need to keep; and withdraw a consent you previously gave. To exercise any of these, or to raise a concern about how we handle your data, contact our Grievance Officer (section 11). We will respond within the timelines required by law.

9.Children

This website and our services are intended for businesses and for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our website may link to manufacturer sites and other third-party resources. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies separately.
